Smart Thermostats Program

If you’ve already purchased the equipment:

Weatherization Program

The rebates listed in the table above are for all customers, regardless of income level. There are no additional income verification steps required to receive these rebates. In order to receive these rebates, you must use a contractor who is a PSE Recommended Energy Professional (REP) or another PSE Trade Ally. Your contractor will deduct the rebate amount from your invoice, reducing your out-of-pocket cost. Please visit bagmakerblog.com/rep to request a contractor referral, or visit bagmakerblog.com/insulation for more information about weatherization rebates.

Windows, Water Heat and Space Heat Programs

If the work has not been completed…

  1. Review the income guidelines, and contact an Energy Advisor (EA) to discuss eligibility. The EA will guide you through next steps and can provide referrals to Recommended Energy Professionals (REPs), who are approved to deliver Efficiency Boost rebates.
  2. Once you’ve selected a Recommended Energy Professional, they will ask you to sign an income qualification form (English or Vietnamese) to confirm that you meet eligibility requirements prior to installation.
  3. After installation, the REP will submit your signed incentive application and income qualification form to PSE and provide you with an instant rebate. Incentives will be paid directly to the REP, who will deduct the incentive amount from your invoice, reducing your out-of-pocket cost. You are responsible for paying the balance of the invoice.

If the work has been completed, or you’re using a non-PSE Trade Ally (including DIY)…

  1. Review the income guidelines to ensure you qualify for Efficiency Boost.
  2. Review the applicable program website (windows, heat pump, furnace, heat pump water heater, or gas tankless water heater) to ensure that your equipment qualifies. If your equipment and income qualify, apply for the rebate by:
    • Applying online, or
    • Completing the applicable program rebate form. Submit the completed rebate form (including the Efficiency Boost qualification section, as well as supporting documentation listed on the form) to the email or mail address listed on the rebate form
    • Download rebate forms
  3. If approved, your rebate will be sent to you in the method you requested on the rebate application, either as a check or bill credit.
